About Us
Emmanuel Baptist Church is a friendly church that welcomes you to become a part of this caring fellowship of believers. We are a congregation which reflects the cultural diversity of individuals and families who reside in the Washington metro area. We seek to reflect the love of Jesus Christ as we set goals for ministry and provide resources to carry these ministries out as God leads.
Worship on Sundays
Emmanuel offers Sunday School classes for all ages at 9:45 am, followed by a worship service at 11 am.
Co-Ed Adult Bible Study
A time of prayer and Bible study for all adults is held on Thursday evenings from 6:45 pm - 8 pm.
Saturday Men's Forum
The Men's ministry provides an environment for men to study in order to become disciples! Here at Emmanuel, we are learning to be encouragers of one to another. Through focused male studies, group discussions, food, fellowship and fun, some men learn while others revisit the nature of biblical manhood, sharing the struggles and triumphs of their Christian walks in the world today. Men's Forum meets on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays at 9:30 am (Sept. - June)
Women's Night
Emmanuel's women gather on Monday nights to fellowship and study in a more casual group. A light meal is typically served as well as a topical Bible study. This group meets at 6:30 pm (Sept. - June)
